1st stage – The victory comes to John Degenkolb on the 1st stage. Two FDJ riders in the top10: Nacer Bouhanni is 4th, Yauheni Hutarovich is 8th.

2nd stage – After winning the sprint, Nacer Bouhanni is finally disqualified! Kenny Van Hummel claims victory in this 2nd stage.

3rd stage - John Degenkolb wins the last stage of the Tour de Picardie and the overall classification. Arnaud Courteille takes 7th place. At the overall, Huta is the best FDJ rider, he is 12th.
 

FDJ BIGMAT – TOUR DE PICARDIE

1st Stage (Time Trial) -  Taylor Phinney is the first leader of this race. For the FDJ riders:

2nd STAGE – Soupe finish 3 rd and Bonnet 9th so 2 FDJ Racers in the top 10. A good start, unfortunately Arnaud Démare couldn’t take part in the sprint, he was on the middle of a massive crash in the last corner before the finish line. Mark Cavendish wins the second stage before Matthew Goss and …… GEOFFREY SOUPE!

3rd stage – Horsens - 4th place for Démare, his first top 5 on the Giro! And the second top5 in a raw for FDJ – Bigmat team avec 3rd place of Soupe! Victory comes to Matthew Goss.

4th stage – 18th place on the Team Time Trial for the FDJ-Bigmat. The Garmin team claims victory, Ramunas Navardauskas is the new leader of the Giro.

5th stage – Arnaud Démare takes 9th place, Mickael Delage 12th. Mark Cavendish claims victory after a strong domination by the Team Sky.

6th stage – Angel Rubianio wins the stage and the pink jersey goes to Adriano Malori. 1st FDJ-Bigmat rider, Geoffrey Soupe, finishes with the peloton, 11th.

7th stage - 1st real climbing stage, but no big gaps finally. Sandy Casar is 43rd at 31 seconds from winner Paolo Tiralongo.

8th stage - Domenico Pozzovivo claims victory on the 8th stage. Sandy Casar, 1st FDJ rider, is 34th at 1’24 from the winner.

9th stage – 15th place for Geoffrey Soupe on the 9th stage of the Giro, won by José Ventoso. Calm stage except a big climb in the last kilometer, where a big crash
 

FDJ Bigmat – GIRO D’ITALIA

1st Stage – Pierrick Fédrigo is 3rd behind the sprinters Degenkolb and Napolitano and in front of Voeckler. He was in a little group which took a few seconds to the peloton.

2nd Stage – A pretty hard stage for the FDJ Team who managed to control the peloton and the blows edge. Finally, It’s a big group of 50 racers who had a final sprint to the finish line. As the 1st stage it’s John Degenkolb who was the faster. Nacer Bouhanni finish 4th and Pierrick Fédrigo is still at the 3rd place at the overall, 15 seconds behing the German.

3rd Stage – David Boucher doesn’t arrive to win a race since 2004, but on the Belgium Roads, FDJ-Bigmat racer succeeded to take times to the peloton on the good escape of the day. He’s 5th of this stage. Pierrick Fedrigo lost a place and he’s 4th at 1’41 of Jimmy Engoulvent is the new Leader.

4th Stage – Pierrick Fedrigo is not a fan of pavement, but he was not too bad at Mont Cassel: 6th of the stage and 5th at the overall.

5th Stage – Nacer Bouhanni take the 5th place of the last stage of “des 4 jours de Dunkerque”. Matteo Pelucchi win the stage, Pierrick Fédrigo is 6th at the overall and Jimmy Engoulvent win “4 jours de Dunkerque”.
 

FDJ Bigmat – 4 jours de Dunkerque

Arnaud Demare has finished fourth of the 29th Tro Bro Leon edition who was the 9th step of the french cup, in Lannilis (Finistère). The Race was 206.4 Kms long.

ARNAUD DEMARE SECOND OF THE PMU FRENCH CUP

After the 9th step of the PMU French Cup at the Tro Bro Leon Race in Lannilis, Arnaud Démare is second overall.

ARNAUD DEMARE TAKE THE FOURTH PLACE AT THE TROBROLEON RACE

The Flèche d’Emeraude, 5th round of the Road French Cup was taking place in Saint Malo yesterday. As a conclusion of 182kms, the sprinter Nacer Bouhanni finished at the second place behind the Italian Roberto Ferrari (Androni Giocattoli).
After 5 rounds, 3 riders from FDJ Bigmat are leading the overall classification of young riders! Arnaud Démare, Nacer Bouhanni and Arthur Vichot are the top 3.
 

FDJ BIGMAT – FLECHE D’EMERAUDE : NACER BOUHANNI SECOND

The Criterium International was taking place this week-end in Corsica: 3 stages in 2 days, including 1 time trial on Saturday. The 3rd stage, with a lot of climbs, was announced decisive: 24 riders holding in 20 seconds at the overall classification before this last stage.

Boucles du Sud Ardèches : FDJ Bigmat takes 1st and 2nd place !

Yauheni Hutarovich was close to the exploit yesterday by taking the 2nd place of Kuurne - Bruxelles – Kuurne, behind the world champion and favorite Mark Cavendish. Arnaud Démare, 20 years old, proves again that he is already part of the best sprinters of the world. He takes the 4th place.

Nacer Bouhanni, 21 years old, took his 1st victory of the season last week at the 1st stage of « L’Etoile de Bessèges ». He also finished 3rd of the 2nd stage.

Pierrick Fedrigo, after a tough 2011 season, took the 7th place at the final overall classification.

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has won the XC World Cup in the U23 category ! A title she had already won last year while she was racing in the Junior category.
Pauline, 19, who missed the first race in South Africa - she favoured a road competition on that day - won 4 WC races and finished 3rd in Nove Mesto and 2nd in Val di Sole, and logically added a new title to her already impressive list of victories.
Congratulations !
