The FDJ riders can be proud of their start to the new season: they won 3 out of the 5 stages of the Mediterrannean Tour!
Stage 1 : sprint win for Yauheni Hutarovich
Stage 2 : win for Jussi Veikkanen (yellow jersey)
Stage 3 : sprint win for Yauheni Hutarovich
Stage 4 : Julien Farès (Cofidis Team) is the « virtual » winner of the stage which was interrumpted due to bad weather.
Stage 5 : win for Italian rider Francesco Masciarelli (Acqua&Sapone Team); the Mediterrannean Tour is won by Spanish rider Alejandro Valverde.
Best overall classification for the FDJ : Jussi Veikkanen (7th).
Next stage : the FDJ riders will head to Portugal for the Algarve Tour.
