Ophélie David won the XGames for the 3rd time
Ophélie, our talented female racer of the Lapierre Alpe d'Huez Team, and a confirmed skiing champion, won for the 3rd consecutive year the XGames in the US.
"Ophé" gave up her Spicy bike for a few days to compete with the best skiers of the world, and the least we can say is that her results equal our expectactions...
"Hi everybody
I'm currently on the californian coast, under the LA sun, and I'm delighted to let you know that I won for the 3rd consecutive year the gold medal at the famous XGames!
A nice medal I won nearly on the finishing line at Buttermilk, in Aspen!
2 days after Xavier Bertoni's victory (in super pipe skiing) and a few hours after Julien Lizeroux and JB Grange (World Cup slalom) amazing double, I had the good luck to mount once again the highest step of the podium!
It seems that lately French sportsmen have had the wind in their sails!
We now have 3 days'rest before heading to Cypress Hill, Canada, (where the next Olympic Games will take place) for the fifth race of the World Cup.
I'll keep you posted, and hopefully I'll have some other good news to share!
Ophélie"
